In 2008, Evan Triggs and Grant Cameron joined forces to bring the Indianapolis Tornados back to Minor League football. Not only did they win the 2008 NAFL National Championship, they have led one of the most successful minor league franchises in the state of Indiana. Respected across by teams across the nation, the Tornados are no strangers to the National Top 25 rankings for all leagues (over 350 teams). Here is a look at the staff that has contributed to the success of this program:
HEAD COACH/DEFENSIVE COORDINATOR
Sunungura Rusununguko-- Coach R. (aka "Go-go") played four seasons in the Arena Football League (AFL) with the Indiana Firebirds (2001-2003), Colorado Crush and New Orleans VooDoo. He played for Fort Wayne Fusion AFL2 in 2007 and in St.Louis with River City Rage IFL 2009. He was also a member of the Las Vegas Gladiators and the New York Dragons.
He played college football at Ball State University from 1996 to 2000. He was the co-winner, along with Adrian Reese, of the John Hodge Award for Ball State Outstanding Freshman in 1996 as a defensive tackle. He earned second team All-Mid American Conference honors and was a team captain for the Cardinals in 2000. He attended Franklin Central High School in Indianapolis where he was an undefeated Indiana state wrestling champ in 1996.
He has been a Defensive lineman for the Indianapolis Tornados from 2008 until his retirement in 2017. Sunungura's previous coaching experience includes his time as an assistant coach/defensive line coach for the University of Indianapolis in 2004. He coached football, wrestling and track at Franklin Central and Emma Donnan Middle School where he also served as the Athletic Director. He loves coaching youth football and is actively involved in youth camps hosted by the Indianapolis Tornados.

Avery Thompson-- Coach Thompson is a graduate of Ben Davis H.S. and has been a member of the Indianapolis Tornados since 2008. Last season, he won the team's MVP honors.

Devin Moore-- Devin is a former NFL running back who was signed by the Seattle Seahawks as a free agent in 2009. He made is NFL debut with the Indianapolis Colts in 2010. Despite suffering a career-ending injury, Mr. Moore loves being around the game of football and his position with the Tornados allows his to mentor Tornado players to reach the next level. Devin Moore will serve as the team liaison with agents, scouts and team executives.
DIRECTOR OF SECURITY
Deputy Jim Grimes-- SGT Grimes is a Marion County Sheriff deputy. On game day, he provides area security, VIP escorts, and manages fan safety.
Keith Meyers is the Vice President of Operations of Indiana Sports Radio
Network and has been an athletic director and coach for 20 years at local Christian schools. He is the founder of the Indiana Christian State Tournament and Horizon Christian Sports Network. Keith's vision for Indiana SRN is to bring quality sports events as well as family friendly programming to the internet air waves. Keith has been happily married to Debbie for 11 years and has five grown children and nine grandchildren. Keith was the Morning Host and Station Manager of 91.3 THE WALK. He has been the athletic director at Eastlawn Christian, North Eastwood Christian, and Horizon Christian. He is a former College / High school official in football and basketball.

David M. Seiter-- David originally joined the Tornados as a sponsor in 2008 and took over game day operations in 2009. Since that time, a Tornados game has been about more than just football. It is a family-friendly football event with regular entertainment and prizes for the fans. As a result, the fan-base and number of sponsors have grown. The Tornados have been a premier football organization. Dave acts as "Chief of Staff" overseeing all components of the organization off the field. He also announces play by play for the team on Internet Radio at: www.Indianasm.org in addition to hosting the "Tornado Watch" show with Keith Myers.
DIRECTOR OF PUBLIC RELATIONS
Kim Roudebush-- 2018 will be Kim's 8th season with the organization. In 2011, Kim was brought on as Dance Director and Choreographer for the Syrens Dance Team. Kim was also dancing with the team from 2011-2014. Consistently Kim has developed the Syrens into a Semi-pro team where she not only taught dance but has been in charge of PR, coordinating promo and charity events, performance events throughout the community, and building the brand. In 2018 Kim will still be co-owner of Syrens Dance Team, Inc. and will assist in helping the new dance directors but her main focus will be in the unity of the Tornados organization as a whole with community events, team outings, game day operations, and public relations.
SYRENS DANCE TEAM
Jamie Dean-- Jamie was brought on in 2014 to assist with the Syrens Dance Team development and management. Jamie oversees all of the management aspect of the team from uniforms to accounting. She has brought a level of professionalism and organization to the team that has brought the Syrens to another level. 2018 will be an exciting year for Jamie in her continued efforts of increasing team visions and exceeding team goals. She will be overseeing the new 2018 Dance Directors and helping them transfer into their new roles.
SYRENS DANCE TEAM
Fallon Coleman- Fallon graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Communications & Culture. While at Indiana University, she directed the IU Essence Hip Hop Dance Team. Under her guidance, Fallon led the team to three first place trophies at the Star Quest Competition. In 2006, Fallon began her law school studies at IU McKinney School of Law where she earned her Juris Doctorate in 2009. In 2012, Fallon became an Administrative Judge with the United States Department of Agriculture. Although Fallon has a love for the law, her passion is dance. Fallon became a Certified Zumba Instructor in November of 2009 and is currently still a Zumba Instructor at the Fitness in Motion Studio. Fallon is the owner of Alexander Coleman Dance Company. Alexander Coleman Dance Company specializes in adult and youth ladies Latin Fusion Dance Teams.

Ilesha Tevis-- Ileisha began her dance journey at Arlington High School joining the school dance team, The Goldenairs. She started her own dance group which went on to win the Indianapolis National Star Quest in 2003. Immediately following high school Ileisha enrolled and was accepted at Indiana University where she tried out of the Hip Hop dance team, IU Essence. . In 2006, Ileisha graduated from the International Academy of Design and Technology in Chicago with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Fashion Design and Merchandising. She also, in 2005, studied abroad in London, Europe at the Intercontinental University of London for Fashion and Merchandising. Ileisha has been dedicated to uplifting and entertaining others with her hip-hop dance and creative designs.
PUBLIC ADDRESS ANNOUNCER
Jeff Klinck-- Jeff is the lead singer of the band, Midnight Fire, and a media assistant for the Indianapolis Public Schools. He has performed before Indianapolis Colts games and sang the national anthem several times for the Indianapolis Tornados. Last season, Jeff helped out as the sideline emcee. However, this season, he will be calling the game from the pressbox.

There are no wages paid to any staff or player. However, the atmosphere is exciting and the organization is well run.
