TWISTER, the "KAT-5" TORNADO
Joining the team in 2010, Twister has brought a special dimension to Tornados games. "It is important to have the kids actively engaged throughout the game," observed game day director, David Seiter. "If the kids are happy and entertained off the field, the parents can enjoy the game and the kids will want to come back to future games."
In addition to Twister, the Tornados offer the "Kids Fun Zone" where children can interact with players and Syrens and collect autographs. During some home games, the kids zone has featured bounce houses from Piece of Cake Party rental or a basketball hoop from Rhino Sports.
The Tornados have also incorporated "Tornado Alley" where our fans can join Twister and the Syrens Dance Team to form a tunnel and "high-5" players when they are introduced before the game. The break between the 1st and 2nd quarters features a kids contest where they can compete for prizes. You don't want to miss the highly regarded, nearly internationally reknown, often imitated but never duplicated "Peanut Butter Jelly Time", in which Twister invites all the children down to the track to dance with the Syrens Dance Team. Can't get enough interaction with the team? Stick around after the game where players are available after the team prayer to sign autographs! Also, don't miss the "in-game" promotions for products and prizes donated by our generous sponsors.
When you come to a Tornados game, it isn't just about football--- It is a Family-Friendly, Fast-paced, Football EVENT!!!!
